Reading Block, Psychologism and behaviourism

it was written in 1981

Questions

Block is trying to develop a non-functionalist view of mental states, right???

but presumably, he wants this psychologistic view to allow for multiple realisability, right???

if I say that what it is for something to be intelligent (in a human-like way) is for it to pass the Turing test, thats an analytic rather than an operationalist statement, right???

I think so, because an operationalist would say something like we know that it is intelligent because weve measured it with our Turing test
